Due to changes implemented by the Johnson County Commission and the Overland Park City Council, the BEHA board was forced to renegotiate trash hauling services for the homes association. The board solicited bids from several haulers and reached an agreement with Superior Disposal Service, Inc. The new changes are effective Jan. 1, 2012.
The new cost will be $172.00 per year (2014).
Household solid waste and recycle must be placed at the curb by 7:00 am on the scheduled pick-up day which remains Thursday.
Holiday schedule: Pick-up delayed one day, if holiday falls on a weekday on or before the regular Thursday pick-up day for - New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Annual price increase is limited to three percent (3%) per year.

Brookridge Estates HOA Trash Removal:
Weekly pick up each Thursday
Bag limit is equivalent to 95 gallons of trash each week (this is approx. 7-8 thirteen (13) gal kitchen bags)
Overage stickers $1.25, stickers must be visible from the street and placed on each additional bag.
Recycle Removal:
Weekly pick up each Thursday
Recycle is unlimited

We will provide you with a recycle bin or 65 gallon recycle cart upon request Yard Waste
Removal: (bags are based on 32 gallons or less)
January & February 1st Thursday of the month = 4 bags and/or bundles
March –September weekly = 4 bags and/or bundles
October –December weekly = 10 bags and/or bundles
Yard waste must be in biodegradable bags. Limbs may be tied and bundled. We will NOT pick up containers filled with yard waste.

Carts need to be placed with the opening facing the street.
When 2 carts are present please place the recycle cart on one side of the driveway and your trash on the other side of the driveway.

Aluminum cans (pop cans)
Steel (tin) cans (soup cans)
All plastics #1 through #7- including plastic lids, yogurt and butter containers, toys (with metal parts removed).
Plastics, tin, and aluminum- Please rinse.
We cannot accept:
Glass
Automotive bottles
Vitamin or prescription containers
