Government/Political

Updated: Mar 13, 2018

The website for the City of Overland Park contains info about what is happening in OP, resources available to residents, rules & regulations and who to contact about problems.

Johnson County Government has enhanced their website and is providing a lot more information than they used to. If you type in your address on the quick maps section, you'll see all kinds of information, including historical pictures of your house.  If you hover your mouse on the pictures at the bottom, the actual date the picture was taken will display.  Owners names has not been available in the past like this, or much of the rest of the information  They still have a few bugs to work out, but it should help us figure out who our residents are in a pinch!  There could be some unexpected information on there that would be explained with an examination of the public records, such as the ownership not being updated when there is a divorce/property settlement or death, but they'll figure that out when they start getting phone calls!
