Picnic

The September 18, 2009 picnic was attended by 105 residents, and was highly enjoyed by all who attended! The person in charge of the picnic was LaRetta Scown, and did she ever put together a great time for all! Our kudos go to LaRetta!

You are not going to believe who we have as the Picnic Coordinator this year!

LaRetta Scown is the picnic coordinator. She has a great volunteer group to help her, but if you would like to assist, please call LaRetta, 642-2302 to add your name to her list and to learn of her coordination meetings.

LaRetta has already gotten THE top-of-the-line face painter and THE best balloon sculpturist for the event, since she is a clown herself (no, really ... she is a clown! See below.).

Games, bubble blowing, relays, balloon toss are planned for the kids.

Adults will be encouraged to get acquainted with neighbors they have not met before.

The home owners association will provide the smoked brisket, hamburgers, hot dogs with buns, plates, tableware, and drinks.

The residents are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.

This picnic will NOT be the same old picnic we have seen in the past. Come join us for a whole new makeover. This picnic will be one you will get to talk about for years to come!
