Garage Sale (2010)

This year's Brookridge Estates garage sale will be from June 2 - June 5, 2010. This is later than usual to improve the chances of having good weather.

Pinehurst Estates will be holding their neighborhood garage sale at the same time, so if you haven't decided yet about participating, we should have a fairly good draw of buyers.

The sign up deadline has been extended through May 26th. To sign up, please either call Sarah and/or click here to see the garage sale form, which may then be printed, filled in, and mailed to Sarah:

To have your garage sale posted here , please contact Sarah Pretz at 894-5096. Sarah will prepare a shopper's guide and map (Brookridge Estates participants only) to be distributed during the sale with addresses of participating homes and major items being offered.

General Information

The garage sale will be in the paper as well as on the Internet. All of the TV Community Calendars have our information too.

"Ozanam/Sherwood Center" will do the pickup on Monday for items not sold. Residents need to put a sign on their donation that says “For Ozanam/Sherwood Center ”. By law, if this sign is there, scavengers are not allowed to touch the items, .

"Ozanam/Sherwood Center " will NOT pick up large appliances (i.e. Refrigerators, Stoves, Washers, Dryers, Sleeper Sofas). The "Federation of the Blind" (816) 763-6655 may be contacted to pick up Sleeper Sofas, and "Crosslines" (913) 281-2274 may be contacted to pick up all kinds of large items.
